The wreck of the week is back to its normal Wednesday.

Sometimes the wrecks are not cars.

I haven’t put one of these up since September. But it’s not because I am running out of wrecks to photograph.

This wreck came to life again a week after I took this photo and then died again.

I’m sorry for the quality of the pictures. A bit of a dust storm going on.

I’ve been a bit slack. This is the first wreck I have posted since April. And it’s not because I had run out of pics.

Clickity click 66. Here’s the 66th remote desert wreck of the week with plenty more to come

A little bit more modern than most I have put up on the blog. But it won’t be long before it starts to fade in the sun.

And it’s another year. It’s hot in the summer, though I doubt this wreck deliberately sought the shade.

Merry Christmas. Here is my 61st wreck of the week to celebrate. We all end up like this eventually.

It gets so hot out here the plastic tail lights in this old Falcon has melted over the years

It’s been rolled on its roof and all the running gear, wheels, axles, differential and gear box ripped out and used in other vehicles.

You will notice this in most remote wrecks. Nothing is wasted. See my first post on “Mitre 13“. But that’s not unusual, farmers waste nothing. Look at some of the junk they accumulate to borrow bits off to make running repairs.

Seems a grader or two has run over this as it was shunted off the road.
