Life In The Fast Lane

There’s a young doctor in western Australia whose medical aim in life is to tell kids that Emla cream is made of nurses’ snot

I kid you not!

emla cream nurses snot

He writes for this little blog called Life In The Fast Lane where today he has tried to kill me off in one of his Toxicology Conundrums.

Chris is fast and loose with his facts, using a drug we don’t have on imprest and my cleaning lady must do a daily 2000km round trip!

Don’t visit the blog and may the fleas of a thousand camels infest Mike and Chris’s underpants.

Slight Correction

I’m proud to call the crazy Welsh git and the New Zealander (need to say more?) mates of mine. Take a look at the blog – you won’t find better medical information and quizzes anywhere.

But I still want the fleas of a 1000 camels to infest their underpants.

If you are looking for some great Australian Healthcare blogs pop across to Life in the Fast Lane. Mike is putting together a great list. If you know of other Aussie blogs in this field leave a comment with the details.

Aussie Health and Medical Blogs

While you are over there and in the health field you might like to attempt the great questions he has compiled for those undertaking the Australian College of Emergency Medicine fellowship (and others) as well as his ECG library.
