Mimili

The X Factor

Who ever thought I’d be talking about the X-Factor on a Remote/Health/Indigenous blog. But I’ve had a stream of kids and young adults in to use my computer to watch this clip after seeing it on tv on Thursday night or on Facebook.

A young Aboriginal man, Zacchariaha Fielding, from Mimili in the APY lands of northwest South Australia is on the X Factor and through to the next round. Mimili is a community of about 350 people.
Keep an eye out for him over the next few weeks. Here is his version of Tracy Chapman’s song Talkin’ ‘Bout A Revolution.
